What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Similar technologies — local storage and session storage — do much the same thing. Together they let a site remember something between one page and the next, or between one visit and the next.
How we use them
persona28.com uses browser storage for site functionality and personalization. Separately, we use website analytics to understand aggregate site usage.
1. Keeping the site working
Some storage is needed for the website to function — to load pages correctly, to keep a form working while you fill it in, and to keep the site secure. Without it, parts of the site would not work properly.
2. Understanding how the site is used
Our website runs on Framer, and we use Framer’s built-in website analytics. This is aggregate measurement of site usage, and is separate from the persistent browser storage described in the personalization section below.
This gives us aggregate information — page views, unique visitors, where visitors came from, general geography, device type and basic session measurements. We use it to see which pages are useful and to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally.
3. Personalizing what you see
We use RightMessage, a website personalization service, across persona28.com.
RightMessage helps us show more relevant content — for example, a short question about your role or your current priority, or a form or message suited to what you have told us. To do that it remembers information about your visits between sessions, so it uses cookies or similar browser storage to recognize a returning visitor and recall how they have used the site.
This personalization applies to our own website only. It is not advertising, and it is not used to follow you across other companies’ websites.
What we do not use
As of the date of this notice, persona28.com does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or any advertising, retargeting or session-replay tool. There is no advertising cookie and no advertising network on this site.
This describes the site as it is built today. It is not a promise that we will never use such a tool. If we adopt one, we will update this notice and our Privacy Policy first.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your choices
Most browsers let you see what a site has stored, block cookies, or delete them. Browsers differ, and the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each explain how.
If you block or clear this storage:
the website will still work, but
it will not remember you between visits, and
personalized content will not be personalized.
You can also use your browser’s private or incognito mode, which clears storage when you close the window.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. When we do, we will change the effective date shown at the top of the page.
