Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Persona 28 handles information collected through persona28.com, our public website.
1. Scope
This policy covers the website itself: the pages you read, the contact form, the email sign-up on our website, and the analytics service the site uses.
It does not cover the MicroSim application. When you leave persona28.com and enter the MicroSim simulation at microsim.persona28.com, a separate MicroSim Privacy Policy and separate MicroSim Terms of Use apply to that experience. Section 9 explains where the line falls and links to both.
It also does not cover any third party’s own website or service that you reach through a link from ours.
2. Who we are
Persona 28 LLC, an Indiana limited liability company (“Persona 28”, “we”, “us”), builds leadership assessment technology, including AI-powered leadership simulations.

3. Information we collect
Information you give us
Contact form. When you write to us, we collect your first name, last name, work email address and your message. You may also tell us your company, what you are interested in, and the decision you are working on. Those three are optional.
Email sign-up. Where our site offers the MicroSim in exchange for an email address, we collect the email address you enter.
Information collected automatically
Website analytics — aggregate information about site usage. See section 6.
Browser storage — cookies and similar storage used for site functionality and to operate our email sign-up form. See section 11 and our Cookie Notice.
What we do not ask for
The website does not ask for a phone number, a postal address, a date of birth, a government identifier, or payment details, and it has no field to enter them. There is no account and no password on persona28.com.
Please do not send us sensitive information. The contact form is a general enquiry form. Please do not include confidential information belonging to your employer or to anyone else, or sensitive personal information about yourself or another person. We do not need it.
4. How we collect information
We collect information in three ways: you give it to us through the contact form or the email sign-up; it is collected automatically as you browse, through analytics and browser storage; and our service providers collect it on our behalf in order to run the site. Section 10 lists them.
5. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
reply to your enquiry and follow up on it;
send you marketing emails where you signed up for them;
operate, secure and improve the website;
understand in aggregate how the site is used and which pages are useful;
meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Information collected through persona28.com is used for the website, inquiry, and communication purposes described in this policy. Persona 28 simulation applications have separate data practices described in their own privacy notices.
6. Website analytics
Our website runs on Framer, and we use Framer’s built-in website analytics.
It gives us aggregate information about how the site is used — such as page views, unique visitors, where visitors arrived from, general geography, device type, and basic session measurements. We use it to understand which pages are working and to improve the site.
As of the date of this policy, persona28.com does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or any advertising or session-replay tool. If that changes, we will update this policy and our Cookie Notice.
7. Email and marketing communications
We use Kit, formerly ConvertKit, for marketing and acquisition email.
When you use the email sign-up form on the MicroSim page, Kit receives your email address, information about the page you signed up on and how you arrived there (such as the referring page and any campaign parameters in the link), and technical information from your browser, and may derive your approximate location from your IP address. We tag your record to show that you signed up through the MicroSim page. Kit also keeps a record of any email we send you.
Marketing emails include a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop at privacy@persona28.com, and we will act on that request.
Kit is used for marketing and acquisition email. Persona 28 simulation applications have separate data practices described in their own privacy notices.
8. Contact form
The contact form on persona28.com is a Framer form, and submissions are delivered to Persona 28 by email.
The form is not connected to a spreadsheet, a webhook, our email marketing platform, or a scheduling tool.
Campaign tracking on the form is turned off, and no tracking identifier is configured on it.
Basic anti-spam protection is enabled.
After you submit, you are returned to the contact page.
We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry and to follow up on it. Submitting the contact form does not sign you up for marketing email.
9. MicroSim and other Persona 28 simulation experiences
Some parts of persona28.com lead into a Persona 28 simulation. It is worth being clear about where the line falls.
On persona28.com — this policy applies. That includes the MicroSim page, the email sign-up on it, the email service described in section 7, and the redirect that sends you onward to the simulation.
Once you enter the simulation at microsim.persona28.com — the MicroSim documents apply. That experience has its own Privacy Policy and its own Terms of Use, which describe what the simulation collects, how your responses are analyzed, who processes them, and what your Leadership Snapshot is and is not. Before you begin, you are asked to agree to the MicroSim Terms of Use and to acknowledge the MicroSim Privacy Policy.

The public website and the MicroSim application are governed by separate privacy disclosures because they collect and use information for different purposes.
Other Persona 28 simulations may carry their own terms and privacy disclosures. Where they do, those apply to that experience.
10. Service providers
We use a small number of providers to operate persona28.com. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Framer
Hosts the website, delivers contact-form submissions to us by email, and provides aggregate website analytics.
Kit
Email sign-up form and marketing email.
Providers keep their own operational records under their own practices. The MicroSim application uses a different set of providers, which its own Privacy Policy describes.
11. Cookies and browser storage
persona28.com uses cookies and similar browser storage for site functionality and to operate our email sign-up form. Separately, we use website analytics to understand aggregate site usage, as described in section 6.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear site storage. Doing so may mean parts of the site, including the email sign-up form, do not work as expected.

12. Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy — including responding to your enquiry, operating and improving the website, meeting our legal and business obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements.
How long that is varies with the type of information and the reason it is held. Where we no longer need information, we take steps to delete it or to stop it being associated with you.
We have not set a fixed retention period for website information. If we do, we will say so here.
13. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information in our care, and our providers maintain their own security practices.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Sale of personal information and advertising
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your personal information for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers. persona28.com carries no advertising pixel and no advertising network.
15. Your choices and privacy rights
Contacting us is voluntary, and you choose what to put in your message.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time.
You can control cookies through your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information — such as the right to request access to it, correction of it, or deletion of it.
To make a request, contact privacy@persona28.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information where we are permitted or required to keep it.
16. Children
persona28.com is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children.
Persona 28 simulations are intended for working professionals age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this website. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, contact privacy@persona28.com and we will remove it.
17. U.S. focus and international visitors
Persona 28 is currently focused on serving organizations based in the United States, and we do not specifically target or market our assessment services to residents of the European Union or the United Kingdom.
Our website is reachable from other countries, and we do not attempt to block access. If you visit from outside the United States, information collected through the site will be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those where you live.
If our focus changes, we will update this policy and any disclosures that apply.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date shown at the top of the page. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
